My Lesson For Today

This was the conversation I had with Chase as I was putting him to bed:

"Get some sleep buddy. You have daycamp in the morning."
"Yippee! Is Lincoln gonna be there?"
"I don't know. But I know Allie-Grace will be."
"Allie-Grace is my best friend."
"Wow, buddy. You have a lot of best friends."
"Yeah, but Alex is not my best friend."
"How come?"
"Alex hurts peoples. Alex hurt me right here *points to forehead*"
"Aww well that's not very nice."
"No. And when you are mean to peoples, the teacher calls your Mommy."

So the lesson for today is: Don't be mean or else someone will call your Mommy.
