The kids are not taking the move very well. Jorden's attitude and whining have reached a whole new level. Chase got really upset when he saw his entire life being packed into boxes. Right now we are staying with our wonderful friends John and his wife Dottie. They've pretty much been babysitters for us while Jason and I are doing the last little bit to the house. Today Chase said that he wanted to go home and that just totally killed me.
Our cats are not doing well either. Bandit is hiding under a bed somewhere in John's house but Spaz, well, we're afraid we may have to leave without him. He was so upset when we brought him over to John's house that in the middle of the night he busted through a door and ran outside. We haven't seen him since. He's so scared of everyone that there's no way he will try to come to the door for anyone except me or Jason. So if he doesn't show up by tomorrow morning, we'll have to leave him behind.
We were having major issues with the company that was shipping Jason's truck. They were supposed to get it on Monday but never did. Today is now Thursday and it's still here. So after Jason threatened to cancel the order and demanded our money back the company was real quick to make sure it was picked up tonight. As of right now they haven't gotten it yet so we'll see.
Things haven't been all bad. I'm excited to have spent time with John, Dottie, and their kids, I'm looking forward to seeing Laurie, Jamie, and their muchkins, and I'm excited about having a black and gold Christmas. It just stinks that we did not have a smooth move and I really wish we didn't have to go anywhere.
