Striking Gold

I am coming to a close on my first week of class. This is the first set of classes that I'm taking since I switched my major. And I gotta say, I really think I made the right decision.

I'm really liking my class! Well, it is only the first one but so far, I'm really enjoying it. For those that don't know, I switched from a business major over to criminal justice. I like this so much better. The reading is really informative, I actually participate in the discussion board without feeling like it's a chore, and who wouldn't like a class where you have to watch My Cousin Vinny? With a business major, it was all writing papers and working numbers. When you have a mind that wanders like mine, it gets really boring and tedious.

I'm liking this so much that for the first time I'm actually going to work ahead. I really like this major. School is so much easier when you're willing to put forth the effort and not just "go through the motions".
