Who's Kid Is This?

For those that didn't know me as a child, I wasn't exactly the most "feminine". I loved to play sports--tackle football and hockey were my favorite. I even played a year of baseball and was the only girl on the team. Getting bumps, scrapes, and bruises were just a regular part of my day. I preferred Transformers although I did enjoy my Barbies. I wore baggy clothes and only wore dresses when it was required.

So I find it a little amusing that this total tomboy can produce such a little lady. Jorden loves pink. She was so upset when we had to cut her long hair. She's very artsy and can spend hours doing all kinds of crafts. She will wear a dress or skirt without complaint. And the most shocking thing of all is that she's choosing the ever so girly Girl Scouts over martial arts. Now I've got nothing against the GS because I did it for a long time. But if I was given the choice, I'd pick the punching, kicking, energy crazed martial arts hands down.

It sure is amazing that someone who looks so much like me can be the total opposite in personality.
