This was me teaching Chase how to tell a knock-knock joke:
Me: Knock knock!
Chase: Come in!
Me: No Chase. You say "who's there". Knock knock!
Chase: Who's there?
Me: Mommy!
Chase: Oh! Hi Mommy!
Me: No Chase. You say "Mommy who?". Knock knock!
Chase: Come in!
It went on like this for about 20 more minutes. Then I just gave up and we sang the ABCs.
