A Mighty Bill

Today I went and paid for Jorden's orthodontic work to be done on her mouth. The final total was over $1200. And that's after Tricare covers their half. She won't get the expander put in until April but I figured it would be a good idea to pay for it now while we still had the money. What sucks is even though she's having this done, she may still need braces when she gets older. I'm just glad that that we can afford to get her what she needs. My parents couldn't afford to (don't even get me started) and that's why I have crappy vision and crooked teeth. So..... It's done and taken care of and it's one less thing to worry about.

About 4 months ago I bought Chase a new pair of shoes because his other ones were too small. Today I had a hunch and measured his foot at the shoe store. Sure enough, his feet grew another half size. I also realized that Jorden will need all new summer clothes this year. She's already starting to grow out of the pants that I bought for her at the beginning of winter. Geez, it's amazing how fast they grow! I don't mind, I LOVE buying clothes for the kids!
