A Sea of Purple!

Today I had a chance to get started on the home project for Jorden's 3 week break. I decided that I needed a change and paint the master bathroom. It was painted when we moved in but it was such a rush job that I hated it from the start. So my friend Melissa came over and helped me out. It was very interesting...

First off, my bathroom isn't that big so it's a little hard to navigate when you have two people and a ladder in there. Then we had a bit of a disaster. Actually, I had a bit of a disaster. I was standing on the sink and I went to step down. When I came down, I lost my balance and stepped on the paint tray, tipping it over and sending purple paint EVERYWHERE! Melissa and I just stood there for a few seconds in stunned silence. But Melissa is a pro at painting and she knew right what to do to clean it up. So I'm taking my pants over to the washer and Jason just gives me this "look". I said, "Just don't go in the bathroom." Sure enough, he goes in there, sees the mess, looks at us and walks away. But we did get the paint up after some scrubbing and besides the slight purple tint, the floor looks fine. The bathroom looks great so far and will probably be done in about a week (I hope).
