I hope everyone had a good Halloween!
All of us celebrated by first going to the dojo where Jorden takes jujitsu and joining in on the Halloween party. We didn't stay for long because Jason really wanted to take the kids trick-or-treating. We went on post because it's much safer and there's a lot more houses that hand out candy. Jorden kept trying to talk to everyone and was blocking all the other kids from getting their candy. Chase was shy and refused to go up by himself. After about 45 minutes the complaining started so we called it quits. As far as costumes, we went the cheap route this year. It just wasn't in the budget to get new costumes so we went with what we had. Jorden got one more year out of her Slytherin costume and Chase went as a biker boy. It wasn't too eventful but the kids had fun and that's all that matters.
I got in the spirit by wearing my Gryffindor tie!

I bought my kids' outfits a size bigger and tailored them so they can wear them again next year (unless they grow more than 4 inches each!). I make sure they get more than a year out of anything....
