Nesting

Just for the record, this has NOTHING to do with babies!!

But I do have that feeling of making things "just so" before a new arrival. However, in my case I wouldn't say our impending arrival is new. Jason is coming home a few weeks and I've got this sudden urge to make things more presentable as it were. I finally got around to putting up curtains in the kitchen, I hemmed the curtain that hangs on the back door (actually, that was more for my benefit because it dragged on the ground and was constantly getting pulled down), and I'll be putting up curtains in the living room. Do you have any idea how hard it is to find a 7ft tension rod? Not easy! Looks like I'll be doing some drilling. (yay power tools!)

I'll also be redoing the basement bathroom. That bathroom is only used by Jason and we only used it a handful of times since he's been gone. So after a good cleaning I'll be hitting Target (yay!) for some new decor. I really can't wait for him to come home to see all I've done to make our house a great place to live. On second thought, I just can't wait for him to come home. Period.
