Where Did You Sleep Last Night?

I'm not going to deny it anymore. My son is a strange little man. Some of the things he does are just highly questionable. And his sleeping habits have just gotten from fairly normal to just plain weird.

Two days ago, I had asked Jorden to go wake Chase up from his nap. Jorden walked in his room and said she couldn't find him. Sure enough, he wasn't in his bed. We did find him, sound asleep, underneath it. He started off in his bed and I know I put him there. But he grabbed his pillow and blanket and curled up underneath it (remember, he's sleeping in a crib/toddler bed so there's lots of space underneath). He did it again yesterday and that's also how I found him this morning.

I'm at a loss on this one. I don't know why he's doing it. And he's not showing any signs of nightmares or sleepwalking. He seems to be quite comfortable there so I don't move him back into bed. I figure that as long as he's in his room and sleeping, there's no harm in it.

But it's still weird.

my friend's daughter did the same thing...with her toddler bed as well. She started her off in the bed really early (18 months), and she just always found her there. She said the first time she found her there, she was wearing red and white striped footed pajamas, and all that was sticking out were her legs...very "Wizard of Oz"...she said she got rid of the pj's shortly after, lol.

Jillian eventually outgrew sleeping under her bed.
