Jason went back to sick call this morning. He doesn't have strep. His tonsils are abscessed! He received two shots: one was another antibiotic and the other a steroid. He also received a referral for an ENT specialist and quarters for two more days. He looks so pale right now it's scary.
Jorden had her IEP modified and she'll be getting the help that she needs starting when she goes back to school. She'll be spending most of the week in special ed classes to help her catch up. She's also going to still be getting her speech therapy. I can now take her results from school to her doctor and see if any other additional tests are warranted. We'll see what EFMP has to say about it on October 3rd.

Boy, I can totally feel Jason's pain. Had those problems taken care of when I was in my 20's (they took the tonsils and adenoids, too...MUCH better now - haven't had strep SINCE then).
I'm glad they modified Jorden's IEP. You are a good advocate for your kids...keep it up!
