I went to the dermatologist today because I needed to have some patches of skin removed. Nothing serious, more like preventative maintenance. I had 7 different little areas removed, 4 of which required stitches.
I'm hurting right now to say the least.
As soon as I was finished in the office, I jumped in the car to drive home. It was a 90 minute drive back to my house (I was in Chapel Hill) and I knew I'd be hitting rush hour through Raleigh, so I wanted to get home before the lidocaine wore off.
The good stuff is long gone and I'm feeling the pain. I promptly filled my prescription of Tylenol 3 (even though it was offered, I refuse to take anything stronger). The pain is bearable now but tomorrow is going to be another story. I'm already working on my "Oh the agony!" routine so Jason will at least do the laundry. *wink*

Jamie had three removed, and then had to go back and get two larger pieces of skin removed. He had to have internal stitches the second time. I could feel the pain for him.....feel better Barbara.
