When Jason and I got married, we'd figured we would have at least one child. Then Jorden came along and we thought, "Okay, one more should do it." We got our little boy and it was, "We got a girl, we got a boy, no reason to have any more." In fact, Jason was so adamant about not having anymore that he refused to hang on to any of our baby things. As Chase grew out of it, out the door it went. The playpen, super saucer, swing, bottles, etc. All gone.
So as I watched Jason give away all of my babies' things, I resigned myself to the fact that there would be no more. And I've gotten used to that. So why, all of a sudden, is Jason talking about life with a 3rd child? It's almost as if he's making a list in his head of all the things we need to get. I keep saying that I won't be getting pregnant. At least not if my IUD fails and that's not likely it would happen. His response, "Hey, things happen."
Does he want another baby? He hasn't come right out and said it. But I find it very confusing that for someone who had shut the door completly on the possibility, he sure is talking (and obviously thinking) about it a lot.
