We've all had them: those moments in life where you just think to yourself, "Why did this happen now!" Well, I had one last night and it just burned my britches.
Last night was Jorden's first t-ball game. I was excited because she was excited because it was her first game. I couldn't wait to see the team really get out there and try their hardest. So the four of us are at the game and I've got my handy-dandy digital camera at the ready to take some great action shots of my little slugger. Jorden's team was in the field first and I got some pictures but because of where she was standing, I couldn't get a good angle without the sun in my way so none of them turned out. So I figured I would just wait 10 more minutes for the sun to go down behind the trees and I would be good to go.
So later I whip out my trusty little camera to get a shot and...
@#%#@$##!!!!!
The camera displays "Low Battery"
The batteries in my camera decide to go dead so I wound up sitting there ticked off because I'm missing a moment in time. It's not like this will be her only game. I mean, it's only the first one and she'll be playing until the end of May.... but still. It would've been nice to get the experience on "film".
Oh, wondering how the kids did? Let me put it this way: They had absolutely no clue what they were doing but they looked awfully cute doing it anyway!
