Sliding Downhill

This was written by Zay N. Smith from the Chicago Sun-Times. It was featured in a sidebar of our Sunday's paper:

An annual spring reminder from the National Program for Playground Safety at www.playgroundsafety.org that grass is an "inappropriate playing surface" for children.
And slides should be no more than 6 feet high and have a slope of no more than 30 degrees.
And sandboxes are ill-advised because they can contain germs.
If you are age 25 or older, take a look at any nearby playground and remember what your playgrounds were like.
Then find a few children and apologize to them.
